Außerdem soll die Strecke Dublin - München 2x tgl. bedient werden. Lufthansa ist ja glücklicherweise nicht in der Lage diese Route zu bedienen. Laut Auskunft aus Frankfurt von Hanses wird die Strecke erst bedient, wenn Bedarf für 2x tgl. also 14/7 bei Lufthansa besteht.

Aer Lingus has announced four new routes from Cork to continental Europe.
From summer 2005, the company will fly to Munich, Rome, Nice and Faro from Cork, in addition to its existing services to London Heathrow, Amsterdam, Paris, Malaga, Barcelona, Alicante and Milan.
The company also announced it will be basing three new Airbus 320 aircraft in Cork and will be increasing its schedule on existing routes.
The move has been welcomed by business and tourism interests in the region.

Aer Lingus has announced four new routes from Cork to continental Europe.

I do know that the EI DUB MUC service was a very successful launch, which went quickly to twice daily (although only x1 daily for 2004). I presume that ORK MUC will be no more than twice weekly.
I've always been surprised that LH havent deployed the CR7 on x3 dailies to DUB from MUC to act as a feeder. LH seem to ignore ireland - deeming it to be a leisure destination - but that has changed, and the more low cost EI go, the easier it will be for the Star Alliance to become the premium choice for Ireland. BD, SK, LH, VO, and LO are already present. Time for SQ and UA!

In addition to London Heathrow, Amsterdam, Milan, Barcelona, Paris, Malaga and Alicante, flights will also operate to Nice, Munich, Faro and Rome! The addition of four new routes brings the total number of Aer Lingus routes from Cork to 11 demonstrating the airline's significant commitment to and confidence in the Cork market.
The addition of these routes will result in a 50% increase in capacity on an annual basis and will deliver an additional 1.25 million seats into and out of Cork. As part of the expansion, Aer Lingus will also be basing three new Airbus 320 aircraft in Cork airport by April 2005 and will be adding an increased schedule on existing services.
