Just checked the CSA Czech Airlines website. The equipment used is a 747, which is not a part of the CSA fleet. So i guess the Phuket deal is on.

Saudi Arabian Airlines (SV/SVA) announced today that they will start serving Prague, Czech Republic on June 10th 2004. The flight will be twice a week and will be included in the Frankfurt service:

Korean Air Flies to Prague, the Pearl of Europe
Korean Air's Airbus A330
Starting May 15, 2004, Korean Air will offer three weekly non-stop flights to Prague, Czech Republic, from its hub of Incheon International Airport. Airbus A330 aircraft will be used in its air flight expansion to the gateway city to Central and Eastern European.
Flights will depart from Incheon International Airport on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 1:20 p.m. and will arrive in Prague at 5:40 p.m. the same day. The actual flying time is approximately 11 hours and 20 minutes. Return flights leave Prague at 9:20 p.m. and arrive at Incheon at 12:30 p.m. the following day due to time changes.
Prague is one of the few cities in Europe whose rich cultural heritages remain intact to this day. In addition to its artistic beauty, Prague is also known for its music — it is a home to many of the worlds most renowned musicians.
"The new direct route will meet the increasing travel demand for the Central and Eastern Europe and attract more tourists to the region as Czech Republic joined EU this month," said Y. H. Cho, chairman and CEO of Korean Air.

Cho said that Korean Air is also planning to start code-share operations on the Incheon-Prague route with its SkyTeam partner CSA Czech Airlines this year and expecting to further expand the cooperation onto intra-European routes using Prague as a gateway to the region. The national flag carrier currently flies to 16 cities in 13 European countries. Korean Air, with a fleet of 116 aircraft, is one of the world's top 20 airlines and operates almost 400 passenger flights per day to 87 cities in 31 countries.
Korean Air is a founding member of SkyTeam, the global airlines alliances with AeroMexico, Air France, Alitalia, CSA Czech Airlines, and Delta Air Lines that provides customers with extensive worldwide destinations, flights and services.

Wenn jemand nach PRG zum fotografieren will, es ist möglich und sogar relativ gut. Vom Parkplatz von Maenzis Cargo ohne Probleme möglich. Da zu geht man links aus dem Terminal und folgt der Dtraße nach ca. 5 min sieht man eigentlich schon den Cargobereich. dort kann bei o.g. Spedition auf dem Parkplatz fotografiert werden. Allerdings nur bei Westwind. Mit dem PKW kann dort geparkt werden,
auch wochentags, sofern Parkplätze frei sind. Die tschechischen Spotter sind auch da. Ebenso wird auch nix gegen eine Leiter gesagt.
Im Sommer ab ca 14.00 geht dann das Licht in Richtung Bahnachse und ist somit aus mit dem Fotografieren. Ab ca. 17.00 Uhr kann man dann wieder im Anflug stehen bis zum Schluß. Zum Anflug braucht man ein Auto. Man fährt wieder Richtung Autobahn, doch kurz bevor man die Rampr runterfährt und die Gegenspur von der Autobahn heraufkommt, geht links eine kleine schmale Straße weg. Dieser geradeaus folgen. Dann fährt man direkt unter dem Anflug durch und
sucht sich einen Parkplatz und eine Stelle nach belieben. Vormittags ist der Anflug nicht geignet, da die Maschinen ziemlich steil zu aufnehmen sind. Für Zürichkenner in etwa so wie dort im Anflug, wenn von der 28 auf die 16 dann wechselt wurde.

Taiwan's leading carrier, China Airlines said Tuesday it is launching twice weekly scheduled cargo services to Prague on the back of strong demands, beginning mid-November.
The new Prague route will add another city to the airline's extensive European cargo network, which already includes Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Manchester and Milan.
China Airlines currently operates 13 weekly cargo flights to Europe.
"European demand for Asian products has increased considerably," the company said in a statement.
"CAL's new cargo service provides a quick and economical option for the shipment of Asian goods to Europe."
Since its joining the European Union in 2004, the Czech Republic has benefited from an economic policy that has attracted foreign capital, including investments from Taiwan, and improved economic competitiveness.
China Airlines currently operates 13 cargo flights and 15 passenger flights to Europe each week.
The airline now serves 47 passenger and cargo destinations in 21 countries.
