BEST WORLD AIRPORTS Hong Kong International Airport has been chosen as the top airport in the world in the 2004 Skytrax Airport of the Year awards. Nearly five million international passengers completed questionnaires from June 2003 through March to vote on world airports, according to Skytrax, an air-travel research firm based in London. After Hong Kong, airports in the top 10 were: Singapore Changi; Amsterdam Schiphol in the Netherlands; Seoul Incheon in South Korea; Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia; Dubai; Copenhagen in Denmark; Sydney in Australia; Kansai in Japan; and Munich , Germany. Voters also chose the top three airports in various regions.
