Rego Request LH731 10.11.2004

Hi,

This is my first post and I am new to this forum.

I have a rego request for an old flight. I have been looking for this one high and low with no luck.
I have managed to narrow down the options though using past acars records I have been able to rule out a fair few regos as they were on other flights at the time.
Below are the possibilities I am left with;

D-AIGI
D-AIGO I believe this was a 3 class config and this route only offered a 2 class config (I’m led to believe at this time most of the A340’s where 2 class configs).
D-AIFC
D-AIHC This was painted in star alliance colours at the time (if my memory serves right the aircraft I flew was the regular livery, could be wrong though).
D-AIHH From some research I believe this was having a C class check from the 31/10/2004 – 13/10/2004 which would rule it out.

I thought that it was an A340-600 I was on but process of elimination seems to just about rule it out. My itinerary also says A340-600

Hello David,

at first welcome to our forum.

Can you remember if there were lower deck facilities in economy class? In case yes it was an A346, in case not an A343.

Looking on airliners.net I can confirm that D-AIHH was at a C-Check from Oct. 31th, 2004 at Vienna and also seems to be based at that time in Frankfurt. D-AIHC also was based in FRA.

Hi there!

Arrival LH731 from HKG on 11.11.2004 was an A343, reg D-AIGH
Not once a A346 operated the flight in November 2004.

Unfortunately I’m not sure if the aircraft had a lower deck as I slept most of the flight so wasn’t walking about the cabin much.

Thank you very much. Wow i have been looking for that rego a long time. I would off saved myself a lot of time just posting here in the first place.

I have acars records of D-AIGH


D-AIGH (A340-311 LH) 1609 20041109 LH0715 (NRT-MUC)

So it must of done LH730 after the above flight then returned as my Flight LH731

The reason i excluded D-AIGH from the possibilities was i found found this record

Though the times may be in UTC from that sight, i know on 12/11/2004 there is acars records of it returning on LH715.
