BHX kann ich mir wegen der Konkurrenz zwar nicht vorstellen, aber von MUC gibt es z.B. nach SOU keine guten Verbindungen. flybe fliegt von dort ja bereits einige Ziele in Europa an. CDG wird ja auch ausschließlich von Exeter angeboten (und nicht von BHX). Und irgendwo müssen die gerade neu bestellten 20 Dash-8-400 ja auch hinfliegen! ;D

Now my question, anyone has any information that Avianca has plnd to restart the Bogota - Frankfurt service or maybe go to Munich? Specially I miss the Fra service due I used this service since I was 1 year old.
Economically I think the route can be served at least 3 times a week, due the lack of Lufthansa on this route.
Regarding the destination, it would be interesting to see if Avianca will go to Fra or Muc, in my opinion Muc has not the worst possibilities to get AV because after Avianca closed the office in Frankfurt, the announced GSA "Avia-Reps" is located in Munich...
We will see if this dream will be true soon.

Id love to see a 773ER in our fleet but being a VERY conservative airline, I reckon we will stick with the four-potter A346. Maybe even a lease of some A380s as well.
In 2005 you can expect:
- 2 X daily flights to SFO
- 3 X daily flights to LAX
- possible 4 X daily to LHR
- possible service to MAN (yippee)
- operations to MOW
- rumours exist that MUC may come online
- increased operations to the Middle East with extra flights to DXB and the possible introduction of THR and the reintroduction of svce to IST
- XMN flights are a definite go for 28Feb05
- additional sectors to most Asian cities we already serve
Australia is doing some fantastic business for CX these days so there

Gegen einen tausch LH - CX hätt´ich gar nix einzuwenden.
Wie aber in der Vergangenheit auch zu hören war, daß LH gegen CX - Flüge sofort
tgl. Flüge ex MUC dagegensetzen würde, glaube ich nicht so recht daran.

Die Auslastung der LH 730/731 würde mich auch interessieren.
Vor ein paar Wochens stand in der FVW oder der TA ein Interview mit dem Chef von HKG.
Soweit ich mich erinnere beklagte der, daß LH nach MUC nur 3/7 fliegt. Vor SARS war der Flug für einen Monat (im April) mal 7/7.
Deshalb wäre das schon interessant (wobei natürlich bei der LH dieser Yield und nicht die Auslastung zählt oder einfach, daß man zu wenig Longhaul-Flieger hat).
