ATWOnline 12DEC06 reporting Oman Air is eyeing long-haul routes, first to take off in fall of 2008.

Under the plan, 11 of 42 destinations will be long-haul.

It is seeking 3 long-haul aircraft in 2008 and 2 in 2009, 230-240 seater. As per insiders, besides considering A330 and later "may be" the 787, the airline is considering 767-300ER or -400ER.

Long-haul destinations could include London, Paris, Stockholm, Zurich, Milan, Munich, Frankfurt, Kuala Lumpur, Manila and Bangkok for outbound traffic.

RJ, new routes and planes

Royal Jordanian's CEO Samer Majali, in confirming that the government is to sell a 74% stake in the airline next year, has revealed that RJ is planning to launch two new destinations to Montreal and Budapest next June, taking the airline's total to 54. RJ is also looking to incorporate medium haul Airbus A319s from 2008 and will also look to replace its long haul A340s and A310s.

Air France ab Wi 07/08 2x tgl. GRU und 2x tgl. GIG!!!

AF already loaded its second daily GIG-CDG W07/08, which in fact preempt any other airlines. So anything is possible when you consider LH decisions regarding the Brazilian market...

Zusammen mit TAM A330-200 gibts sogar dann 3x tgl. Nonstopflüg.
Eingesetzt wird B747-400 und A330-200 von Air France auf den Flügen nach Rio de Janeiro (GIG).
Bringen angeblich mehr Geld als die Sao Paulo Flüge bei AF???

Nach Sao Paulo fliegt TAM tgl. mit MD11 und A330-200, also 2x tgl. nonstop.
Air France setzt tgl. B777-300ER und A330-200 nach Sao Paulo (GRU) ein.

Insgesamt gehts dann 7x tgl.nach Brasilien ex CDG gegenüber 2x tgl. von Lufthansa in der Star Alliance.
